Each year, we provide scholarships to one key club member at each high school for $500.

We support the key clubs at both local high schools through monetary support and guidance.

Key Club is the oldest and largest service program for high school students. What makes Key Club so successful is the fact that it is a student-led organization that teaches leadership through serving others. Members of the Kiwanis International family, Key Club members build themselves as they build their schools and communities.

Each year, the Hillsborough Kiwanis Club makes a donation to the Orange County Volunteers for Youth program.

Volunteers for Youth has a simple mission - to positively integrate young people into the community and help them recognize that they are valuable and important. Every young person in VFY's programs deserves a chance, and in some cases a second chance, to be strong and productive.

Each year the Hillsborough Kiwanis Club makes a donation to help support the Orange County Robotics Club.

This club, which has student members from Orange High School and Cedar Ridge High School, build robots that compete in a nationally organized event known as the FIRST Robotics Competition.  This competition is a unique varsity sport of the mind designed to help high school aged young people discover how interesting and rewarding the live of engineers and researchers can be.
